The Vinita Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking an experienced individual to fill the position of Executive Director.
Qualified candidates should possess an outgoing, self-starting personality and at least a Bachelor’s Degree or 2 years of executive level work experience. Non-profit or chamber experience and familiarity of the region a plus.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Conducting official correspondence of the Chamber
- Preserving all books, records, documents, and communications
- Keeping an accurate account of the proceedings of the Chamber
- Submitting to the Board of Directors monthly statements of financial transactions
- Community outreach and business development
- Event planning and implementation
- Public relations and marketing
- Tourism promotion
